ABOUT THE LOCAL BOOKSHELF

The Local Bookshelf was founded by a group of children's book authors - moms, educators and marketers - in Greater Vancouver. They connected through a desire to share their storytelling experience and support one another, sharing resources, advice and other local books. We believe in the power of storytelling and the role of books in young children's development. Our aim to create a community for local children's authors, connecting authors with educators, event opportunities and book lovers. Whether you're an author, parent, book lover, educator or are looking to learn more about the local children's literary world, we invite you to our table!
